The Buccaneers placed Pinion (hip) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Pinion wasn't present for practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a right hip injury, and he'll now be forced to spend some time away from the team while in quarantine following his positive test for the virus. The Buccaneers will need to add another punter to the roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.
