Irving ran the ball nine times for 62 yards and caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Commanders.
Irving outperformed starter Rachaad White (15/31/0) on the ground, but the inverse could be said for their production as pass catchers. It was a strong start for the rookie fourth-round selection, as he will continue to be mixed in the offense as the season rolls along. Irving could be worth a look in deeper formats in the short term as the Buccaneers head into a Week 2 matchup against the Lions.
