Edmonds isn't practicing due to an undisclosed injury, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Coach Todd Bowles declined to elaborate on the nature of the injury that has Edmonds sidelined for the start of training camp. The 28-year-old is expected to compete with rookie fourth-round pick Bucky Irving and others for backup roles behind starting running back Rachaad White.
