Barth converted his sole field goal attempt from a distance of 39 yards and was also successful on his sole extra-point attempt in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Panthers.

The veteran kicker had a quiet conclusion to the season, and turned in a very solid campaign overall after being brought in before Week 5 to replace rookie Kyle Brindza. Barth converted 23-of-28 field goal attempts, and was 3-for-5 from 50 yards and beyond. He also handled the new extra-point distance well, missing only one point-after try in 26 attempts. While his 82.1 percent accuracy equaled the second lowest he'd posted in his career, Barth was often a valuable source of points for a rookie quarterback-led offense that sometimes struggled to finish drives in the end zone. Although presently a free agent, Barth figures to be brought back as the incumbent starter for training camp in 2016.
