Whitehead recorded eight tackles (four solo) and a pass defensed in the Buccaneers' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.
The safety also helped limit the Commanders to less than 300 yards of total offense. Whitehead spent the first four seasons of his career with Tampa Bay before playing for the Jets for the last two. After finishing 2023 with 97 tackles, nine passes defensed and four interceptions, Whitehead signed a two-year, $9-million deal with the Bucs in the offseason.
