Buccaneers guard Carl Nicks (foot) was ruled inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Saints.

In addition, cornerback Michael Adams (knee), tight end Tom Crabtree (ankle), cornerback Rashaan Melvin (hamstring) and fullback Erik Long (calf) did not dress for Sunday's game because of injuries. Quarterback Dan Orlovsky, defensive end William Gholston, defensive end Steven Means, running back Peyton Hillis and defensive tackle Chris Jones were healthy inactives.
