Wright agreed to a one-year deal with the Buccaneers on Tuesday, Adam Caplan of ESPN.com reports.
With Chris Conte (undisclosed) a question mark heading into Sunday's tilt with the Chargers, the Buccaneers decided to shore up their secondary by bringing on the veteran Wright. The safety spent the preseason with the Buccaneers, so he should be familiar with the defensive schemes and able to make an immediate impact.
