Jameis Winston gets described in a number of different ways. "Quiet" is rarely the adjective used to descrive the top-overall pick in this year's draft.
Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson says the rookie hasn't been the outspoken person many know him to be yet at organized team activities, per The Tampa Tribune.
“Even at the quarterback position a rookie is still a rookie,"Jackson said. “They’re going to be a little bashful, a little quiet (while) they’re learning their way around.
“And that’s how (Winston) has been. He’s been a little quiet. He knows when to pick and choose his spots (to open up), but for the most he’s just come in and done his work and that’s what we really appreciate.’’
Winston won the Heisman Trophy at Florida State while leading the team to a national title as a redshirt freshman two seasons ago.
