Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is already turning heads in rookie minicamp, specifically offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, according to The Tampa Tribune.
"Without any pictures (to go by) or anything, Mike asked him, 'What's this? What's this? And what's this?' and he — he did very well," Koetter said. "We were really impressed with him.
"That was pretty high for me, that point right there, because both (he and Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota) are good football players and I've been around some good ones, but his recall there was impressive."
Koetter likes how well Winston is processing information as it's being thrown at him.
"Arm strength and all of that stuff, you can see that on tape," Koetter said. "You can't always see how a guy (processes information). But Jameis can process, and that's reassuring, because that’s an important thing."
