Young (hamstring) was waived by the Cardinals on Wednesday, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
Young sustained a hamstring injury one week ago and has yet to show any rehab progress. Perhaps the slowed development prompted the Cardinals to look for a temporary replacement, but either way, Young's brief tenure in Arizona appears to be over.
