The Chargers plan to move Harris (eye) to the active roster from the non-football injury list, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
As Kris Rhim of ESPN.com notes, the move suggests that the Chargers expect Harris to miss fewer than four games, the minimum required if he remained on the NFI list to begin the regular season. It's not a lock that he'll be available for Week 1, however. Harris sustained an eye injury during a fireworks mishap on the Fourth of July, and once he's 100 percent he'll compete for snaps and touches alongside first-round rookie Omarion Hampton.
