Cook (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
The second-year safety out of Cincinnati was held out of practice all week after suffering an ankle injury in Week 13, so it's no surprise that he'll be inactive Sunday. With Cook missing Week 14, expect veteran Mike Edwards to assume the Chiefs' starting free safety duties.
