Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Henne will start the Chiefs' Week 17 game against the Chargers, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
With the Chiefs having already secured the AFC's No. 1 seed in the playoffs, Reid confirmed he would rest some key starters Week 17, most notably Patrick Mahomes. Henne has already made two appearances this season in garbage time, but Sunday's game against the Chargers will mark his first start since 2014.
