McGuire (ankle) is not practicing Monday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
McGuire took his only carry for three yards during Saturday's preseason game against the 49ers, but it appears that he may have dinged up his ankle in the process. The 27-year-old is competing for a depth spot in Kansas City's backfield, and missing practice time could hurt his chances of sticking on the regular-season roster.
