Avant finished the 2015 season with just 15 catches for 119 yards on 24 targets.
The veteran wideout struggled to find the field consistently, and averaged less than a grab per game as a result. He signed just one-year contract with the Chiefs before the 2015 campaign, and could be a candidate for retirement in the offseason if he can't find work elsewhere.
