Kansas City indicated that Reid was placed on the active/non-football injury list Sunday due to a quad issue, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Reid was a surprise addition to the NFI list, and the reason for the move is now clear. Head coach Andy Reid indicated that the safety is day-to-day, so it doesn't sound like the issue will put his status for the start of the season in jeopardy.
