Woods (calf) was placed on injured reserve prior to Saturday's game against the Patriots.
Woods suffered the injury in Wednesday's practice, and it must have been severe enough to knock him out for several weeks. The Colts will accordingly be without some of their depth on the defensive line in the meantime.
