Ehlinger (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets but will serve as Indianapolis' emergency quarterback.
Ehlinger has yet to take a snap this season and won't count against the Colts' gameday roster limit. However, he'll be eligible to enter the game if Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco suffer injuries Sunday.
