Day (knee) is set to return to practice Wednesday, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.
Day's return to practice kicks off a 21-day window for the Colts to evaluate whether to add him to the active roster or let him revert back to IR for the rest of the year. He's recovering from a minor knee procedure undergone late August.
