Smith (thumb) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Smith, who was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, finished Week 5 prep with a full practice Wednesday. The questionable tag gives him a chance to be activated from IR and make his 2026 debut Thursday. Smith's return would likely result in T.J. Bass reverting to a depth role on the offensive line.
