The Jets released Fales from the practice squad Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
The Jets are satisfied with the three quarterbacks they have on the active roster, so they're moving on from Fales, who suited up in two games for the team in 2019. The 30-year-old signal-caller likely tops out as a practice squad player at this point in his career.
