The Lions waived Rucker (ankle) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Rucker will once again be subject to waivers before becoming a free agent. If the cornerback goes unclaimed, he will likely focus on returning to football condition before attempting to sign with another franchise.
