Scarlett was elevated to Miami's active roster from the practice squad for Monday's game against the Saints.
Scarlett joined the Dolphins' practice squad in mid-December and will serve as a COVID-19 replacement for Monday's contest. Myles Gaskin, Duke Johnson, Phillip Lindsay and Salvon Ahmed are all healthy, so Scarlett is unlikely to be much of a factor in Miami's backfield.
