Tagovailoa exited Thursday's game against Buffalo after suffering an apparent head injury, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Tagovailoa scrambled to get a first down late in the third quarter and lowered his head into Damar Hamlin. He stayed on the field for several minutes but was able to walk off the field under his own power. Tagovailoa immediately went to the locker room for further evaluation, leaving Skylar Thompson to take over under center.
