Tagovailoa completed 23 of 37 passes for 338 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions and added an 11-yard rush in the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Tagovailoa overcame a lackluster first half where the Jaguars seemed to be continually one step ahead, leveraging a strong second-half performance from his own team's defensive unit and hitting on some key passes over the final two quarters. None was bigger than his 80-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill late in the third quarter, which brought Miami to within four points. Tagovailoa also subsequently led a pair of field-goal drives that totaled 20 combined plays, with the latter march culminating in a game-winning, 52-yard field goal by Jason Sanders. Tagovailoa and his explosive skill-position weapons may not be able to get away with another slow start Week 2, however, as Josh Allen and the Bills come calling in a Thursday night matchup.
