The Dolphins elevated Gonzalez from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Gonzalez has worked as Miami's gameday kicker each of the past two weeks and will do so again versus New England on Sunday. He's performed adequately so far, going 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts. This is Gonzalez's third and final elevation, so the Dolphins would need to sign him to the active roster to continue having him kick in games beyond this weekend.
