Gonzalez reverted to the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Miami plans to continue using Gonzalez as its starting kicker in Week 9 against Detroit, but it will have to do use his last practice squad elevation in order to do so, per David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Gonzalez is 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts through two starts this season.
