Thomas arrived in Houston on Monday for a workout, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle repotrs.
The Texans placed A.J. Moore (hamstring) on the injured list Monday, so it looks like there's legitimate interest in Thomas, who was released by the Ravens in August. One league source said there's a "strong chance" the Texans sign him if the audition and meetings with team officials go well. The Ravens cited personal conduct issues for releasing him, so the Texans will do their due diligence.
