Atlanta placed Burns (undisclosed) on its reserve-PUP list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Falcons waived Burns on Monday after he failed a physical, but now he's back with the team since no other club claimed him during the last waiver period. Until he's healthy enough to play again, Carlos Washington could see increased reps at practice.
