The Fantasy football injuries around the league will have a major impact on the Week 3 Fantasy football rankings. Matthew Stafford will have unfamiliar faces to throw to with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua both injured, which thrusts players like Jordan Whittington and Tyler Johnson up the Week 3 Fantasy football WR rankings. Meanwhile, Isiah Pacheco's injury for Kansas City has many focused in on the Chiefs' backup running backs as potential Week 3 Fantasy football picks. Undrafted rookie Carson Steele and journeyman Samaje Perine are next in line to take handoffs from Patrick Mahomes and could move up the Week 3 Fantasy football RB rankings. Before you lock in your lineups, be sure to check out the Week 3 Fantasy football rankings from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football QB picks:

1. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals: Burrow struggled in Cincinnati's season opener, but he bounced back in a big way against Kansas City. Burrow completed 23 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns in Cincinnati's loss to the Chiefs. He'll lead the Bengals against the Washington Commanders on Monday, a defense that's giving up 27.5 points per game.

2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen continues to dominate for Fantasy owners with both his arm and legs. Thus far this season, Allen has completed 31 of 42 pass attempts for 371 yards and three touchdowns. He's also recorded 11 carries for 41 yards and two scores. He'll continue to do it all when the Bills take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday.

3. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: Murray is having a stellar bounce-back year for the Cardinals. In last week's victory over the Rams, Murray completed 81% of his passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 59 rushing yards against Los Angeles, bringing his season total up to 116 rushing yards. See more top QBs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football RB picks:

1. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins: Achane will likely see his usage increase this week with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sidelined after suffering a concussion last week. Achane finished with 22 carries for 96 yards against the Bills while hauling in seven receptions for 69 yards and a score. He's finished with seven receptions in each of his first two games, providing sky-high value for Fantasy owners.

2. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints: Kamara has been dominant for the Saints, who lead the NFL in scoring offense with 45.5 points per game. Kamara finished with 20 rushing attempts for 115 yards and three scores in New Orleans' lopsided victory over the Cowboys last week.

3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley has been extremely effective for the Eagles thus far. In Monday's loss to the Falcons, Barkley rushed 22 times for 95 yards and caught four of five targets for 21 yards. He also finished with three touchdowns in Philadelphia's season opener and he's averaging 124.0 yards from scrimmage through two games with the Eagles. See more top RBs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football WR picks:

1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: After 86 total yards against a Cleveland defense which was best in the league last year, Lamb then had 90 yards and a score in Week 2 versus New Orleans. He will face Baltimore in Week 3, but these aren't the same defensively dominant Ravens from a year ago as no team has allowed more passing yards than Baltimore this season.

2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings: Jefferson suffered a quad contusion on Sunday but is on track to suit up in Week 3. He had a career-high 97-yard TD reception before picking up the injury and will get to face a Houston defense that has already allowed three 50-yard plays to WRs this season, two of which went for touchdowns.

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: Jared Goff and St. Brown haven't quite been on the same page this season, but even with that, the wideout is averaging seven receptions for 66 yards per game. On Sunday, he will face an Arizona defense which ranked 31st last season, and St. Brown had a stat line of 8-90-1 in his lone previous game against the Cardinals in 2021. See more top WRs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top Week 3 Fantasy football TE picks:

1. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals: McBride was effective in Arizona's lopsided win over the Rams in Week 2. McBride hauled in all six of his targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 41-10 win over Los Angeles. The 2022 second-round pick has quietly provided 11 receptions for 97 yards through two games in his first season as the No. 1 option at TE.

2. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers: Kittle remains one of the most consistent tight ends in the league and he's coming off a strong showing against the Vikings, recording seven receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. On Sunday, the 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams, a defense that gave up 41 points last week to the Cardinals.

3. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce is off to a slow start for Fantasy owners. He has just 39 receiving yards on the season heading into Week 3 against the Falcons. However, Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes' most reliable target, and the veteran TE is expected to see his usage increase with Isiah Pacheco sidelined with a leg injury. See more top TEs here.

Top Week 3 Fantasy football defense rankings

Here's a look at SportsLine's top three Week 3 Fantasy football D/ST picks:

1. Browns D/ST: Cleveland led the NFL in total defense in 2023, and that unit showed up last Sunday when it held the Jags to 13 points and racked up four sacks. An even more promising matchup is on tap in Week 3 as the Browns will face the Giants, who rank 31st in scoring and are in the top 10 in terms of both turnovers committed and sacks allowed.

2. Raiders D/ST: Since Antonio Pierce took over in Week 9 of last year, the Raiders have allowed 17.2 PPG, which is the second-fewest in the NFL. Now they get to face a Panthers team which hasn't even scored 17 points over their last four games combined and a QB in Andy Dalton who has thrown just one NFL pass over the last calendar year.

3. Packers D/ST: Green Bay's defense has an NFL-high of six takeaways this season, and it should remain in first place with that stat after Week 3. That's because the Packers will face the Titans and QB Will Levis, who just happens to lead the league with five giveaways on the season while his seven times sacked is the fifth-most in the league. See more top D/ST here.
