Through 11 days of Jets training camp, rookie quarterback Geno Smith has made very few mistakes and looks like he has a chance to unseat Mark Sanchez for the starting job.
Smith has yet to throw an interception in team drills and has gotten some fine play from some young receivers like Stephen Hill and Clyde Gates. If there's a criticism it's that he's been holding on to the ball for too long. The New York Post believes that if Smith plays well in his first two preseason games then he'll get the assignment for Week 1 vs. Tampa Bay.
