Winn was signed to the Lions' practice squad Wednesday.
Winn had been released from the team's practice squad earlier in September, but they'll bring him back after fellow running back Ameer Abdullah (foot) was placed on IR. Winn could be in line for a spot on the 53-man roster eventually, but Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington will lead the backfield in the meantime.
