Giants tight end Daniel Fells (ankle) is unlikely to play in the NFL again, per Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
Fells has already undergone five surgeries on his foot to fight an MRSA infection. He's been in the hospital since Oct. 2 and might need to stay a while longer. Fortunately, he's been doing much better the last few days, after his doctors found a combination of antibiotics that worked.
