Phillips has a mild right knee sprain and will be sideline for the time being, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Phillips suffered the knee injury at practice Wednesday, and he'll now be forced to miss some action moving forward during training camp. It's unclear if he'll be able to play in New York's first preseason game Aug. 15 versus the Vikings, and if he can't go, Ar'Darius Washington would be a top candidate to see an increase in workload in the secondary.
