Edmunds will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a torn chest muscle, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Edmunds suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter of the Giants' 34-27 loss to the Saints in Week 6. With the veteran linebacker done for the year, Micah McFadden will take over as the starter alongside Arvell Reese. Edmunds will finish his first season with the Giants with 50 tackles (32 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and two pass defenses across six regular-season games.
