Edmunds (chest) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Edmunds will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a torn chest muscle, so his placement on injured reserve opens up a spot on the Giants' 53-man roster. Micah McFadden is expected to start at inside linebacker alongside Arvell Reese for the rest of the season in Edmunds' absence, with Jack Kelly and Zaire Barnes providing depth at the position.
