Werner has signed with Jacksonville, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
Werner's signing comes just over a week after he was cut by the Colts, who drafted him 24th overall in 2013. He put up subpar numbers in his first two seasons, combining for 68 tackles, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and five passes defensed, but he dropped off almost completely in his third season, recording just 13 tackles in 10 games. A return to the quality of play of his first two years will likely only be enough to net him a backup job at defensive end with the Jaguars.
