The Jaguars placed Wells (hip) on injured reserve Tuesday, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Wells has been dealing with an abductor injury over the past few days. Following Tuesday's move, he'll be forced to miss the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with Jacksonville.
