Thompson (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Thompson was forced to the sideline during last week's loss to the Broncos, and the issue is severe enough to keep him out in Week 14. Expect Tashaun Gipson to continue drawing the start at free safety for Jacksonville.
