Jets quarterback Geno Smith had X-rays on his right shoulder following his team's 43-23 loss to the Bills, the team announced after the game.
Smith was benched in the first quarter after throwing interceptions on three straight drives. He ended the day with two completions on eight attempts for five yards with the three picks. Even if the X-rays don't show a major injury, it's possible Smith has started his last game for the Jets after the poor performance and benching Sunday, though the Jets have not announced the team's quarterback plans moving forward. The Jets will hit the road to face the Chiefs in Week 9.
