FitzPatrick was waived by the Falcons on Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
FitzPatrick reeled in six catches for 33 yards on nine targets in the preseason after appearing in nine games with Atlanta in 2023. If the tight end clears waivers, his most likely next step would be joining the Falcons' practice squad ahead of the 2024 campaign.
