FitzPatrick signed with the Falcons' practice squad on Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
FitzPatrick appeared in nine regular-season games with Atlanta last season, but he only saw one target, which was caught for 12 yards. He'll now work to find his way back to the team's 53-man roster.
