The Saints cut Williams (illness) from the practice squad Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Williams signed with the Saints' practice squad Monday, but he was let go two days later to make room for wide receiver Kyrese Rowan. Williams appeared in 15 regular-season games for New Orleans last year and will look to catch on with a team in need of a defensive lineman who can also contribute on special teams.
