Jonah Williams: Let go from Saints' practice squad
The Saints cut Williams (illness) from the practice squad Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Williams signed with the Saints' practice squad Monday, but he was let go two days later to make room for wide receiver Kyrese Rowan. Williams appeared in 15 regular-season games for New Orleans last year and will look to catch on with a team in need of a defensive lineman who can also contribute on special teams.

Jonah Williams: Released with NFI designation
Williams was released by the Cardinals with a non-football illness designation Sunday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Williams is dealing with an apparent illness after he recorded three total tackles (two solo) with Arizona during the preseason. The defensive lineman played in 15 regular-season contests with the Saints in 2025, recording 18 total tackles (eight solo), including a career-high 3.0 sacks. Given his experience, he'll likely find an interested suitor at some point in the near future.
