The Patriots released Martin (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
It's unclear what is ailing Martin, but when he is healthy, the veteran will be eligible to join a new team for the 2021 campaign. Martin has played in 28 career regular-season games and will garner interest from teams in search of veteran depth along their offensive line.
