Griffin signed a one-day contract to retire with the Titans, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
Griffin was selected by the Titans in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft and went on to appear in two Pro Bowls (2008, '10) and earn one Second-Team All-Pro nod ('10). He last appeared in the NFL in 2016 for the Panthers, making six starts in 13 games. The 33-year-old safety retires with 803 tackles, 25 interceptions, 12 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and seven sacks in 154 career regular-season games.
