The Colts released Foles on Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
This was always coming for Foles after the Colts added Gardner Minshew in free agency and then Anthony Richardson in the 2023 NFL Draft at No. 4 overall. The move saves Indy $2.1 million against the cap. Foles will look for backup work elsewhere after going 0-2 with a 59.5 percent completion rate, zero touchdowns and four interceptions in two starts last year.
