Packers' Jordan Love: Severity of leg injury unclear
Love exited late in the fourth quarter of Friday's 34-29 loss to the Eagles due to a lower left leg injury. "I don't know," Packers head coach LaFleur said, when asked twice about the severity of Love's injury after the game, ESPN.com reports.
The Packers seemingly aren't planning on offering any clarity on Love's injury until he undergoes further testing. Malik Willis played the final two snaps of Friday's loss and would likely be in line to take over as the team's starter if Love isn't available for the Packers' Week 2 contest next Sunday versus the Colts. Before exiting the contest in the game's final minute when he required assistance to the sideline after he appeared to twist his left leg when he was hit by two defenders on a lateral, Love completed 17 of 34 pass attempts for 260 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
