The Panthers elevated Tyus from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Tyus is set to be the No. 3 option at running back in Sunday's game against the Browns. Chuba Hubbard and AJ Dillon will still see the majority, if not all, of the offensive reps in the contest, but Tyus will be the reserve option if the two need a break or succumb to injury.
