Palmer has been placed on the Panthers' physically unable to perform list for undisclosed reasons, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.
Palmer hasn't managed to catch on anywhere since entering the NFL in 2013, playing in just one game in his career. He's hoping to catch on with Carolina this season, but he'll need to fight for every rep he can to do so. It's not clear why he's on the PUP list but he should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.
